Chicken Caesar Salad

This is one of my favourite salads having just the perfect combination of right crunch , taste and richness. Chicken pieces mixed with the crunchy bread cubes in the perfect mayo dressing is surely heavely to dig in.


Chicken Caesar SaladIngredients

  1. For Dressing:
  2. Parmesan cheese- 3tsp or as per need.
  3. Mayonnaise- 3 heaped tbspn
  4. Olive oil- 1 tbsp
  5. Salt- acc to need
  6. Lemon juice- half
  7. Garlic pods-2
  8. Oregano and basil for seasoning.

For Chicken :

  1. Chicken breast -1
  2. Olive oil- 1tbspn
  3. Cornflour- 1 tsp
  4. Black pepper -1 tsp
  5. Salt as per taste.

For Roasting 🍞:

  1. Bread -4 slices
  2. Olive oil- 1and half tbsp.


  1. In a blender, blend the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, two tablespoons of olive oil, two pods of garlic.
  2. Add a little seasoning of your choice.I have added basil and oregano.
  3. Set aside and keep in the refrigerator.
  4. Cut the white bread into cubes, toss in olive oil and roast in an oven at 180C for 15 minutes or until golden and crunchy. Set aside.
  5. Take chicken in a seaparate bowl .I have taken 1 big whole chicken breast cut into pieces
  6. Add a little salt , black pepper , cornflour and 1tsp of dark soy sauce and mix.
  7. Add a little olive oil ,mix and marinate for 10-15 mins.
  8. In a hot frying pan, sauté the chicken in olive oil until it turns nice golden and cooks completely.Cool and set aside.
  9. Cut up the American lettuce and arrange in a salad bowl. Add in the chicken breasts and the dressing, toss, and add the bread chunks and give a nice mix.
  10. Serve and enjoy.
