Dosa Chutney/Peanut Chutney

Dosa chutney can be made in different style .This is one style of dosa chutney/peanut chutney which i made today .

It is made from a mixture of peanut ,garlic and a little chilly .It tastes amazing when served alongside any southindian food.



  1. Peanuts-1bowl/Roasted
  2. Black mustard seeds-11/2tsp
  3. Curry leaves:5-6
  4. Garlic pods -3
  5. Whole red chilly-2
  6. Salt to taste


  1. Roast peanuts in a pan and remove the brown thin shell of it and keep aside
  2. In a pan now heat 2tsp of oil and add mustard seeds ,curry leaves ,garlic pods ,red chilly and a little salt.
  3. Saute for a minute or two and add into the peanuts .
  4. Blend into a smooth paste .
  5. Now for the tadka – Heat a tsp of oil into a pan and add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds and 2-3 curry leaves along with a whole red chilly .
  6. Saute and add to the peanut chutney  
  7. Dosa chutney is all ready  to serve with Dosa ,idli , uttapam or any other south indian delicacy.
