Golgappa Masala Water/khatta meetha pani

Gol gappe and the pani are two sides of coin… always inseparable. At times, you eat gol gappas just to drink the spicy and chatpata water.
Golgappapani or spiced water is spicy, tangy as well as sweet.


Ingredients for Green Water(khatta pani):

  1. Mint leaves-1/2cup
  2. Coriander leaves-1cup
  3. Lemon -1
  4. Green chilly:3-4
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Rocksalt-1tsp
  7. Garam masala-1/2tsp
  8. Dry mango powder-2tsp
  9. Roasted cuminpowder-2tsp
  10. Roasted fennel powder-2tsp
  11. Asafaetida-1/2tsp
  12. Chaat masala-1tsp
  13. Boondi(optional)


  1. Blend all the ingredients in a blending jar and then strain the mixture and remove the leftover leaves.
  2. Add water and adjust Salt acc to your taste.
  3. Squeeze one lemon juice into it and add boondi (optional)and serve 

Ingredients for Red Water(meetha pani):

  1. Tamarind pulp-2-3tsp
  2. Jaggery water-1 cup
  3. Roasted cumin-1tsp
  4. Roasted fennel-1tsp
  5. Asafaetida-1/4tsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Chaat masala-1/2tsp
  8. Garam masala-1/2tsp


  1. Boil 1 cup jaggery in 11/2cup of water until it meltscompletely.
  2. Now take it iff and let it cool and then add all the dry masala and stir well
  3. Khatta meetha pani is ready to serve😋😋
